The Walatowa Museum, part of the Visitor Center, is designed to take our visitors on a unique cultural journey as we share our history and how our Towa culture and traditions continue to guide our people today. Learn about our histor, culture and experiences told in our own words. The museum exhibit portrays Jemez ancestral lands, repatriated artifacts and traditional tools and crafts. The exhibits explain the growth of our ancestors to our present pueblo lifestyle. Visitors will be able to compare traditional black & white pottery to our contemporary artisans of today.
